1. Send your request
Email privacy@nullorigin.tech with the subject “Jolt account deletion request”. Include your account email, whether you are a passenger, driver, applicant or recipient, and whether you want account closure, deletion of particular information, or both.
Do not include your password, full card details or unnecessary identity documents. An account is not required to read these instructions.
2. Verify the request
Appropriate verification may be needed to protect your information and prevent someone else from closing your account. If further sensitive verification is necessary, a suitable channel will be arranged. Someone acting for you may need to establish their authority.
3. Understand the scope
The request can cover account/profile information, driver applications and documents, saved places, notification subscriptions and other information linked to you. Relevant records can be held in authentication, database, document-storage and provider systems.
Account closure, signing out and deletion are different actions. There is no verified automatic full-account deletion mechanism in the current Jolt applications. This page provides request instructions; it does not carry out deletion.
4. Information that may be retained
Records may need to be retained where a lawful obligation or permitted purpose applies, including financial recordkeeping, unresolved transactions, disputes, safety matters or legal claims. Other participants’ lawful records, exported copies and provider logs or backups require separate consideration. Retained information should be limited to its relevant purpose.
5. What to expect
The Information Officer oversees the manual request process, including identity verification, review across relevant systems, lawful retention exceptions and a response explaining the outcome and next steps. No fixed completion deadline or immediate deletion of every backup is promised. A request receipt or disabled account does not prove deletion has been completed.
If you need help submitting or following up a request, use privacy@nullorigin.tech. You retain applicable information rights and the right to raise a concern with South Africa’s Information Regulator.
